About Me!

My full name is Kathryn Leigh Bradford Aston, I was born on August 20, 1986 in Elberton, Georgia.  I have one sister and two older brothers, whom all say I am spoiled because I’m the baby.  I grew up at Eliam United Methodist Church in Elberton where I still attend with my husband Derek and Hayleigh, our daughter.  I am a daughter, sister, wife, friend and mostly a mom in life.  I live everyday for God by taking care of all my love ones and myself.  I attended elementary school at Falling Creek in Elberton, middle school was also in Elberton at Elbert County Middle School, and high school was Elbert County Comprehensive High School.  I have many good memories from school, one from elementary would be having field day and participating in our school plays of the character words.  Middle and High school memories are about the same because it was cheerleading and being on the student council.  My junior and senior year I was voted by our school to be student body president, which I was very honored and loved being.  I live in Elberton, where I was born and raised with my husband, Derek, my beautiful daughter, Hayleigh, and our two dogs, a boxer named Pete and a Shih Tzu named Piper.
Life to me means a gift.  It’s a gift and a blessing every day I wake up because we are not promised tomorrow.  I see life as a blank story book that we write every single day of our lives. We have blank pages and we chose to write and draw our own story by our choices we make every day.  We can make some bad choices but we have to learn from them.  Life is so fragile and some people take it for granted, so we need to all be positive and remember that, today is your gift from God and all we can do is hope and pray that we will get another gift tomorrow from Him!
My outlook on the future is to hopefully in about 10 years be continuing to be a  1st or 2nd grade teacher, but I will be happy with any grade level.  I would love to still be who I am today for I am truly blessed.  In the year 2020, I will have all four of my children, and be a great momma to them just like my momma was to me.  I also hope that I will make a difference in someone’s life that they will remember me.
In conclusion, I hope to continue on my journey, writing my story of life.  I hope to be a good wife and Mom, it shouldn’t be hard, because I had one of the best role models.  I want to continue on my walk with God and let Him lead me where I need to go in my life.
